Hope you enjoyed the very first episode of the new season. Let’s get into all that happened in last night’s premiere. Walking into that room and seeing UFC stars Rashad Evans and Rampage Jackson I was in absolute awe. I didn’t know whether to shake their hands or bow.  Both guys represent the caliber of mixed martial artist I hope to be one day. 

I know that a lot of the hype and excitement for this season surrounds Kimbo Slice, but I was amped to have a proven veteran such as Roy Nelson on the cast. I knew he would either make a great training partner or someone to gun for during the six weeks.

Either way, I was excited to have him around, but I understand the draw of Kimbo. He is a polarizing figure and one that is still looking to legitimize himself in the sport.  He also proved to be a good teammate.
