Marcus Jones “The Darkness”

Marcus Edward Jones is a professional heavyweight Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter.  At 6′6″ and 265 pounds, Marcus is an athletic freak of nature with a heart of gold.  He was a first round NFL draft pick out of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and played defensive end for six years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Just three years ago, Marcus embarked on his journey to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion.  He began his training at Gracie Tampa, and won his pro debut after just six months of training.  His professional record currently stands at 4-1.  He currently stands among the cast members on Season 10 of Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights,” and eagerly awaits his first appearance in The Octagon to mark the next phase of his journey to the top.
